A weekly reputation monitoring routine for one location
Fifteen focused minutes beats a dashboard you abandon.
Monday: open the two profiles that matter
Usually Google and your main niche site (Yelp, Facebook or an industry directory). Read anything new. Note the rating change, if any.
Scan name search once
Private window, your shop name plus city. Look for new complaint threads, wrong listings or look-alike names. Screenshot anything new.
Reply or report the same day when you can
A short, calm reply within a day helps more than a perfect essay next week. Report only reviews that appear to break a published policy.
Keep a one-page log
Date, what appeared, what you did. The log is what makes monitoring useful when a pattern shows up months later.
